DARS Strategic Plan/Legislative Appropriation Request Public Meeting Scheduled

The Department of Assistive and Rehabilitative Services (DARS) is seeking stakeholder input for the agency's 2013-2017 Strategic Plan. The strategic plan provides an analytical framework for assessing the agency’s operating environment and considering opportunities, challenges, strengths and weaknesses. The DARS Strategic Plan is included in the Health and Human Services (HHSC) Strategic Plan. The HHSC plan will be forwarded to Stakeholders as soon as it is available.

The 83^rd Session of the Texas Legislature convenes January 2013. DARS has also started the development of the Legislative Appropriations Request (LAR) for the 2014-15 biennium.

Public input is essential to assist with developing the Strategic Plan and LAR. Your contribution is valued and appreciated. A public meeting has been scheduled for stakeholder input on the DARS Strategic Plan and LAR:
