DARS Joint Budget Hearing Presentation Available

Commissioner Debra Wanser along with Department of Assistive and Rehabilitative Services (DARS) Executive Staff will present the DARS FY 2014-15 Legislative Appropriations Request (accessible version) to the Governor’s Office of Budget, Planning, and Policy and the Legislative Budget Board. 

The hearing provides the agency an opportunity to present budgetary needs for the biennium and is the only time a presentation will be made before these two bodies.  This presentation outlines the base request and exceptional items requested by DARS for the FY 2014-2015 Biennium. The hearing date is scheduled for Monday, September 10, 2012 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Reagan Building, 105 W. 15th Street, Room 140 in Austin.  Public testimony is welcomed and encouraged.
