Find Your Nearest Blind Services Office

If you or a family member is blind or visually impaired and you need services to live independently, find a high quality job, or receive the training needed to be successful in school and beyond, the Division for Blind Services (DBS) may be able to help you.

DBS provides services through these programs:
• Vocational Rehabilitation Program
• The Business Enterprises of Texas (BET)
• The Independent Living Program
• The Criss Cole Rehabilitation Center (CCRC)
• The Blind Children’s Vocational Discovery and Development Program
• The Blindness Education, Screening, and Treatment Program (BEST)

DBS offices are located in many cities around the state. You can contact them to learn more about the services DBS provides.

To locate the DBS office closest to where you live, enter your home zip code or locate it using the drop-down selection in the “Zip Code” menu.

You can also find your city or the closest city to you by using the “City Name” selector.

If you would like to find out the nearest office in your county, use the “County Name” selector.

Select the “Search” button and a list of offices will appear along with the address, phone numbers, and a map showing the location of that office. Call the office and they will be able to help you and answer your questions.
