Vocational Rehabilitation for Persons Who are Blind or Visually Impaired
Do you have a vision problem that prevents you from getting a job or that may cause you to lose your job? If so, the services available from the Division for Blind Services Vocational Rehabilitation Program or Transition Program (for students 10 and older) may be able to help you get a job or help you keep the one you already have.

- Develop an Individualized Plan for Employment
- Receive Training and Related Services, as needed
- Employment Assistance
- Post Employment Services, as needed
Who is eligible?
You could be eligible for services if: you have a visual impairment that is a barrier to employment; you can benefit from vocational rehabilitation services in terms of an employment outcome; and you require vocational rehabilitation services to prepare for, get, or retain gainful employment.
