ECI Professional Development Events

Apply to provide Continuing Professional Education credits. To apply, please read the application instructions and complete the CPE application form (PDF). The application must be received by the ECI State Office at least 30 days before the event.

Making It Work

Making It Work (MIW): Training to communicate essential knowledge to all ECI staff, and to assist providers in complying with federal and state requirements, by providing consistent information on the ECI process.


Case Management Module – Training for Service Coordinators

Service Coordinators must complete this module in order to provide case management services for families.


Required Provider Training

Required Provider Training: All ECI staff must maintain their specific license or credential in good standing in order to provide ECI services. All staff who provide services to children and families must complete a self assessment about their knowledge, skills and abilities and the Orientation to ECI before receiving a caseload. Each staff will also have an individualized professional development plan designed for them based on the results of their self assessment.
