Welcome Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services Director Lori Breslow
DARS is pleased to announce that Lori Breslow has been selected for the position of Director for the Office of Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services effective February 1, 2012. The position was formerly held by David Myers, who retired in late 2011.

Ms. Breslow has a Master’s degree in rehabilitation counseling from the University of Arizona and an undergraduate degree in Independent Studies with an emphasis on Psychology and Special Education.
With a career which spans 25 years in state government, non-profit organizations, and private corporations, Ms. Breslow has 15 years of senior and executive management experience in programs that serve individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing. Most recently, Ms. Breslow served as the Austin Director of Interpreting for Sorenson Communications. She has previously worked for Communication Service for the Deaf (CSD), in roles as the Senior Director for Programs in Sioux Falls, South Dakota and the Director of the Texas division of the organization.
Ms. Breslow believes strongly in the Serving Leadership philosophy embraced by DARS. She has extensive knowledge of Vocational Rehabilitation and is looking forward to learning more about all the programs offered by the Office of Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services.
